Siena raises a $17M Series A to expand from customer-service agents into an Agent of Record for consumer brands

What changed

Siena announced a $17 million Series A on October 6, led by York IE with participation from Joyance Ventures and existing investors, bringing total funding to $29.7 million. The company is expanding beyond its original AI customer-service agent toward an “Agent of Record” model: a shared intelligence layer intended to give customer-facing agents, internal agents and human teams a common understanding of the customer. Siena's platform already spans support, social, commerce, QA and agent-building workflows. The round funds expansion of that agent infrastructure rather than a new foundation model.
