ZEE5 and Google Cloud launch AI-powered Clips, generating 13,000 vertical videos from 1,200 titles with Gemini, Chirp and Vision API

Indian streaming platform ZEE5 announced Clips with Google Cloud on October 5. The AI-powered discovery feature identifies potentially engaging moments in films and shows and automatically converts them into swipeable vertical videos that link viewers into the full-length title. The stack combines Gemini models, Google's Chirp multilingual speech model, Cloud Vision API and deep-learning image processing. ZEE5 says it has generated 13,000 Clips from 1,200 titles so far. This is a ZEE5 content-discovery product launch rather than a new Google foundation-model release.
