What changed

Google launched Guided Vision in Gemini Live on October 1 for compatible Android devices. With camera sharing enabled, users can receive spoken scene descriptions, reframing cues and follow-up assistance for tasks such as reading small text, finding objects and identifying colors. It requires Android 9 or later in supported Gemini Live regions and languages, and Google says it is not a navigation, obstacle-detection or medical aid.
