Black Forest Labs launches FLUX 3 Image with bounding-box layouts, up to 10 references and native 4K output

What changed

Black Forest Labs has launched the image-generation and editing portion of FLUX 3 as FLUX 3 Image. Users or agents can place elements on a 0–1000 canvas with bounding boxes, combine up to 10 reference images, generate native 2K/4K output and make localized multi-turn edits. The official product page now exposes Playground/API access and a commercial-weights option; an open-weights version remains a future rollout, so this release should not be described as already open-weight.
