India's Soket AI open-sources Loop, an agent harness for hour-to-day workloads with sandboxes, MCP and shared memory

What changed

Soket AI unveiled Loop on October 7 as an open-source agent harness for workloads that can run for hours or days. Soket's product page describes an MIT-licensed terminal with secure sandbox support and long-running “infinite loops”; launch coverage also details a Rust implementation, parallel tool execution, MCP, forkable sessions, shared memory and multi-agent workflows. Soket targets controlled or sovereign deployments in areas such as cybersecurity, finance, legal work and defense. The company is also training EKA reasoning models, but those future model releases are roadmap items and separate from the Loop harness that is available now.
