Bad Monkey AI open-sources AgentSpaces for peer-to-peer task sharing and failover across independently built AI agents

What changed
Bad Monkey AI publicly released AgentSpaces 0.2.0 on October 5 as an Apache 2.0 coordination library for AI agents. It uses peer-to-peer communication and a leased typed tuple space so independently built agents, conventional services, robots and sensors can discover one another, claim work, share results and recover unfinished tasks when a worker fails without relying on a central coordination server. The official repository describes CRDT-based gossip replication plus Java components and Spring/Embabel integration, while the launch coverage also describes Python support. AgentSpaces is coordination infrastructure rather than a new general-purpose agent.
