Anthropic expands the Cyber Verification Program with three access tiers for Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5 and Mythos 5.1

What changed

Anthropic expanded its Cyber Verification Program on October 6, combining the previous CVP and Project Glasswing into Defense, Red Team and Specialized access tiers. Each tier can provide access to Claude Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5, Mythos 5.1 and future models, with different verification requirements and levels of cyber blocking. Anthropic says Glasswing partners identified at least 129,000 verified software vulnerabilities from April through July and its own scanning found another 5,500 through October, with more than 33,000 rated critical or high severity. Those figures are program-reported rather than independently audited.
