Anthropic expands its Cyber Verification Program with three access tiers for stronger Claude cyber capabilities

What changed

Anthropic expanded its Cyber Verification Program on October 6, combining the earlier CVP and Project Glasswing into three access tiers: Defense Access, Red Team Access and Specialized Access. Qualified security teams can apply for reduced cyber blocking and access to stronger capabilities across Claude Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5, Mythos 5.1 and future models, with different verification and monitoring requirements by tier. Anthropic also reports large numbers of verified vulnerabilities found through Glasswing partners and its own open-source scanning; those figures come from partner reporting and Anthropic programs rather than a general model leaderboard.
