What changed

Instinct began rolling out group-chat agents to early-access users on October 5. A new shared Instinct can join a conversation even when friends do not have Instinct accounts, with use cases including travel planning, event tickets, fantasy leagues and carpools. Founder Noah Shinn says personal Instinct agents request permission before connecting to a group agent, the group Instinct is siloed from members' personal accounts, and personal agents continue to ask before sharing information or taking actions; pending replies are held when a new member joins. The feature is currently early access, with broader availability promised 'soon.'
