Keysight adds agentic AI to ADS 2027, using MCP to let AI agents generate, verify and optimize RF circuit designs

What changed

Keysight added agentic-AI capabilities to Advanced Design System (ADS) 2027 and RF Circuit Simulation Professional on October 6. Engineers can record workflows as macros for agents to learn and convert graphical RF designs into code the agents can process. MCP servers expose Keysight-defined tools and skills to AI assistants and LLMs from multiple vendors. An agent can respond to a natural-language request by generating, simulating and optimizing a design, with Keysight simulation used to validate the output. The MCP servers, macro recording and Python script generation are available now.
