QueryPie launches Aru desktop agent with local files, terminal, Git, computer use and enterprise MCP and skills in one workspace

What changed
QueryPie AI launched Aru for Windows and macOS in Japan on October 7. The desktop agent can handle research, data analysis, documents and development tasks inside a local workspace while integrating terminal access, Git, file viewing, an embedded browser, image generation/editing and multi-agent task distribution. Its computer-use capability can read the screen and click or type in desktop apps that lack native AI integrations, while sensitive operations such as data updates or deletion require user confirmation. For enterprises, Aru can sync MCP servers, skills and organization settings from QueryPie AIP and connect to systems such as Slack, Confluence, Google Calendar and Jira. An animated Aru Companion shows whether the agent is working, finished or waiting.
