Together AI launches Together Link to keep existing coding-agent harnesses while routing work to open models such as GLM, Kimi and DeepSeek

What changed
Together AI released Together Link in beta on October 5. It lets developers keep familiar agent harnesses including Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, OpenCode and Pi while routing model calls to open models served by Together AI. Its Auto router chooses a model from the first task in each session, with official examples including GLM 5.3, GLM 5.3 Flash, Kimi K3 and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash; existing logins, histories and settings remain intact, and each session shows a cost comparison. Together claims savings of more than 50% versus always using premium closed models; actual savings depend on model selection and usage.
