OpenRouter launches Model Router Benchmarks to compare model routers on quality, speed and cost

What changed

OpenRouter launched its Model Router Benchmarks page on October 2, evaluating a growing set of model routers on quality, speed and cost while showing representative single models as baselines. OpenRouter says it will keep adding routers and refreshing scores, so the results are a living benchmark rather than a permanent ranking.
