AWS Well-Architected Agent enters public preview with goal-aware cloud remediation guidance

What changed

AWS put Well-Architected Agent into public preview on October 1. The service combines resource configuration, utilization and application topology to generate cost, security, performance and resilience recommendations across more than 65 AWS services, including IaC or CLI remediation options. The preview is hosted in three U.S. regions, requires an eligible AWS Support plan, and AWS says generated recommendations should be reviewed for errors or omissions.
