What changed

Microsoft introduced MAI-Transcribe-2-Streaming together with MAI-Voice-2.1 and MAI-Voice-2.1-Flash on October 1. Streaming transcription supports 60 languages and continuous language detection, while the voice models cover 23 languages. All are accessible through Microsoft Foundry; MAI-Transcribe-2-Streaming is in public preview without an SLA, and Microsoft’s latency and ranking claims reflect vendor-reported or cited benchmark results.
