What changed

Anthropic published a robot-exposure study on September 30 using roughly 900 occupations and 19,000 job tasks. It estimates that current robots can perform about 74% of physical tasks in some settings, representing around 34% of total US working time, while only about 0.3% of tasks are currently cost-competitive. The index is an exposure measure, not a prediction that those jobs will be automated immediately.
