Fireworks releases Ember-1 to cut Kimi K3 reasoning tokens for agent workloads

What changed

Fireworks Research has released Ember-1, a post-trained Kimi K3 derivative designed to use about 40% fewer reasoning tokens while retaining task quality, reducing the cost of replaying long traces in multi-turn coding and agent work. It is available as a Serverless Research Preview. Quality and cost claims come primarily from Fireworks benchmarks and internal A/B tests, not independent validation.
